Sculpted in high relief with Buddha Shakyamuni seated in vajrasana on a lotus base placed on a throne set to the front with the wheel of the Buddhist Law flanked by a pair of deer, his hands in dharmacakramudra, wearing diaphanous monastic garment including a mantle covering both shoulders, his hairdo continuing into the ushnisha, a head-halo behind engraved with the Buddhist Creed inscription, the throne flanked by a pair of vyalakas and its horizontal upper beam supporting a pair of stupas.
